In this writing workshop, we apply key concepts of a yoga asana to the work we do on the page. Just as tree pose needs roots to anchor in order to ascend towards the sun, poems need the weight of earth energy in order to move towards big ideas. In this workshop, practice developing a poem that starts plugged into the ground of the world and blossoms into limitlessness. No writing experience required, this workshop is open to anyone curious about tuning their craft and exploring expression through the practice of writing poetry in the spirit of curiosity & awareness.
